COOL BREEZY

We’re just beginning the last quarter of the year (if you can believe it) and it’s about time to select this year’s Best [people/places/things] of Baltimore!  Baltimore Magazine already released their picks last month.  Now it’s the City Paper’s turn.  There’s a lot of things that are less-than-stellar about our beloved City of Baltimore, such as our shitty baseball team (Go O’s?), the crime rate (yawn), and the accidental meme of the dope-fiend lean (Baltimore’s very own version of “planking”).  But the City Paper takes it upon itself every year to highlight the very best of our city:

In fact, when it comes time to compile the Best of Baltimore issue, we’re downright good with it. Because—except for the occasional backhanded compliment—it’s one long list of things to like, love, lift up, celebrate, and just plain dig about all things 410/443, from an arts scene that’s booming to a culinary scene that ranges from haute cuisine to down-and-dirty delicious to the many day-to-day amenities that improve life here immensely but often go unnoticed.
